very good, peak of my music taste
however, very repetitive, but that might js be metallica’s sound
favs: leper messiah, the thing that should not be
least fav: master of puppets (biased)
amazing!!!
all songs were a little different but same vibe, love the brazilian feel
favs: taj mahal, ponta de lança africano
least fav: i acc dk?? i like them all
good, i understand why people listen but not my cup of tea. i don’t like his voice but i appreciate the storytelling vibe of each song
SO fucking cool!! never really listened to prince and i’m very content, some of it sounds like it would be in a funky 80’s sci-fi movie which is probably the point lmfao, can gladly say i’ve added most of it to my liked!! rip lola from kinky boots you would’ve loved prince’s 1984 album purple rain
really good, such a classic!! super easy listening and absolute bangers on there, will agree with dan tho that it’s really overplayed. doesn’t make it bad tho!! i bloody love polly and omfg FUCK smells like teen spirit stupid fucking song
i love the vibe but defo not my fav scissor sisters album, return to oz alone was worth a star i loved that song, other than that i was quite bored maybe because i’m tired, but love you anyway scissor sisters (i’m not gay)
i quite like this, a little bored, but the smiths vibe all over!!! especially guilty partner thats so morrissey, but i dont think i’d listen for the sake of listening, the outros are really good but they drag like an insane amount
pleasantly surprised, love the vibe!! gave me very much a mix of sting and simon and garfunkel, super epic. i listened to it at like sunrise aswell so it was perfect
great great voice, love it, although this album is unnecessarily long, its enjoyable to listen to and i appreciate that, i like how it livens up as you go into the album, queen of 1959 gives me madness vibes if they were american, would give it a 3.5 if i could
SO so summery, bruce springsteen the man you are!! rip wade walker aka crybaby you would’ve loved born in the usa, all pretty samey but good regardless!!
AND THE RAIN WILL KILL US AAALLL!!!! SO motherfucking teaaaa i just love slipknot, this is like prime corey taylor aswell!!! sulfur and psychosocial are obviously classics but the rest of the album slaps too!! perfect example of screamo at its finest, i have this album on cd so im also quite biased, and my yearbook quote was a lyric from snuff. super fun, would give a 4.5 if i could :/
certainly unique, reminds me of aphex twin. i can’t tell if i enjoy it or if i’m forcing myself to enjoy it? there are no vocals for me to indulge in… and i could see WHY someone would enjoy it, its like background noise, but the glitching stuff is so jarring. i did enjoy stem/long stem, very hallucinogenic - i’ll be honest tho all the like 6 minute songs i skipped 3/4 into it lol
quite enjoyed this, i js know the coolest mfs in the 90s listened to this, had it as charity shop background music and it was a successful trip so thanks stereo mc’s 😈
i really quite enjoyed this, although i lost track like really quickly. pretty summery but also felt like such a trip like i had no clue what was happening lol, felt like a storyline omg so kewlll
i loooved this, gave me the beatles, chris isaak and jeff buckley vibes - i love how mellow it was, and the lyrics for alot of the songs were adorable!! i am now a huge fan of velvet underground
very mellow once again, but i did enjoy!! it did get a bit samey after a while but you can’t really do much with acoustic songs so i can’t blame belle or sebastian
oh i loove this, i just KNOW trad goths eat this band up, it’s so like that one 50’s rockabilly auntie i literally cant pinpoint it, defo in some indie horror series, i was gonna say its goo goo muck ish but they literally wrote it so let me stay quiet, love their version of fever
never really listened to ELO but i’m loving this, the dissonant harmonies are delicious, proper 70’s omg to die for. the harmonies are so giving queen, only issue is the repetitiveness but like it’s fine
ALL OF WHICH ARE AMERICAN DREAMS!!!!
i fucking loved this album already so this wasn’t hard. RATM are genuinely so brave for this lowkey posting this album the same day as the presidential election is wild and the history of the album cover is so interesting, its just so groovy i love it, know your enemy has got to be in my top 30 songs ever
super cute and summery, definitely beachy cheers beach boys. um definitely average but not bad!!
absolutely epic, can’t go wrong with jazz really!! apart from the length of the songs, having 5 songs in an album is very kind and considerate!! if it was any longer i would’ve probably crashed out, but love miles davis what a legend
i absolutely loved this, felt like i was in an episode of something lol, they’ve got that ‘the cure’ essence its so good, sounds like something i’d hear in a vintage shop
not terrible as such, just sounds like loading music for some like really pixely game like undertale or smth, it’s like if daft punk went wrong and very repetitive, im grateful for the length of the album lol
quite enjoyed this one, never listened to neil young before so this was nice!! i liked the vibe, the harmonies in for the turnstiles were nice and i liked the instrumentation in each song 🤓 what the music gcse, vampire blues has got to be my fav
so freaking surreal i loved this, i liked sufjan stevens before but this made me so happy, i can tell hes super musically intelligent. john wayne gacy jr is diabolical but wildly poetic, the long song names are really frying me but i love it
soooo bluesy, brother was 100% influenced by that black soul!!! period!!! i love blues so this was great, devil eyes has got to be my fav such a freaky deaky song, make it right bangsss omg groovalicious. moral of the story i think mr tim buckley wants a woman to abuse and dominate him
can’t really go wrong w this kinda psychedelic rock shit, i like the diversity in this album tbh but its nothing special, i enjoyed oh,me and lake of fire those banged, some of this album is lowkey giving radiohead, why are there songs named the same thing
thoroughly enjoying this whole thing, i love jimi hendrix so like this isn’t hard, what a psychedelically intelligent man. little wing and if 6 was 9 are the sexiest songs ever wtf, john mayers cover of bold as love does it so much justice omg i love this album
the most british thing i’ve ever heard oh my god, this is just if morrissey was like unheard of, i quite enjoyed it, rip joe casey you would’ve loved billy bragg, overall it’s alright just very long and samey, the last song ate
oooh i really liked this one, her voice is so gorgeous omg!!! all are quite similar especially with that spongebob electric guitar effect but i love it its so jazzy and smooth, black coffee, don’t let the stars get in your eyes and busy being blue are defo my favs
literally can’t go wrong with one of the kings of blues, muddy waters the man you are. it can get repetitive but like there’s not much you can do with blues
very gorgeous album, so easy going and easy to listen to, samba and jazz is such a good combo wtf its so random asw, they cooked w this
actually not one bad song on this album, so many classics on here aswell!! bless him his voice sounds so painful but it adds to it, love you bon jovi 😜
literally captures 80s pop so well, so iconic and i love her sound, the songs have quite a lot of variety aswell so it’s all round a good album
one of the most unique and talented voices of the 70s, i’ve loved janis joplin for ages now and she’s so awesome to listen to, can’t believe she’s dead man, so much soul and groove omg
it was okay, generic rock. love the bandname tho
absolutely class i love massive attack, so surreal genuinely could listen for hours, house md reference
genuinely one of my fav smiths albums, i love girlfriend in a coma so much bro AHHH i love
