Is This It by The Strokes

Boring? Not my jam! I can see why people find it as thrilling as watching paint dry. 2/5 stars for the excitement!

Absolute gem of an album, thoroughly enjoyed! First time listening to a David Bowie album, and I’m definitely adding it to my playlist. It’s like finding a glittery space suit in your closet—unexpected but totally worth it! 4/5 stars (because I saved one for his next album, which I’m sure will be out of this world!)

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith

Beyond boring

Just like painting a gate not fun but also there is plenty worse things out there

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Apr 25 2025

Bob Dylan's music is like the perfect office mate – he's always there, never too loud, and somehow makes everything feel slightly more profound. Give him a spin, and you'll be singing along (or not, let's be real, his lyrics can be a bit...out there). Either way, he's the perfect background noise for when you need to pretend to be productive. 4/5 stars – would recommend for work site playlist.

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington

"Shocker: I didn't hate it! But the live recording made me feel like I was stuck in a stuffy auditorium. 2/5 – close enough to decent, I guess."

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan

Trashy tunes! 1/5 rubbish bins

Absolutely hated it! U2 are the most overrated band of all time! If I could negative stars I would!

Not something I would normally listen to but I enjoyed it.

Rust In Peace by Megadeth

It was a thing that happened. I existed while it played. 2/5 – not a ringing endorsement, but hey, at least I didn't turn it off

Timeless American vibes and a healthy dose of rock 'n' roll and the whole thing felt like a sun-kissed road trip down route 66
