I appreciated the interwoven sitar features. It broke the album up a little and differentiated it from so many others. The breakup came with some disconnect and distraction--the flow was a little scattered at times--but overall a fun listen.
What a show! Everything from Because through Carry that Weight flows seamlessly from one onto the next, leading the album back full circle. Boy, you're gonna carry that weight and you better have a belly full of wine.
Not a lot of bangers (miss me with Come Together) but groovy and enjoyable (Octopus's Garden and Maxwell, underrated).

It felt a little overproduced on the first listen, but the second time around I got that it was part of the theme. The overwhelming power and grandiose posturing of the church. It was a powerful listen and a heavy critique on overreach. It felt a little distracted at points and a little heavy handed at others, but I'm willing to admit that I might have missed some of the nuance and subtler rejoinders (also I don't speak french).
Fetal alcohol syndrome - a story in 12 parts. This album tasted like a stale menthol.
I'm all for cheap thrills but this wasn't even fun. Axl Rose walked so Kid Rock could throw up all over his shoes.
A very creative album. I appreciate what this did for music as a whole, but I can't say I loved the listen.
Sappy synth pop meets crunchy guitar riffs in a clash of unremarkable and unforgettable ballads. This album was all over the place. I appreciate that the songs had an undercurrent stitching them all together. A little overdone at times, but an enjoyable listen nonetheless. I left happy to have heard it.
It was fine. Love Paul Simon but I can't say this is his best work.
Holy shit. What. A. Voice. This is what I signed up for.
The music went hard. The lyrics did not. How you gonna act tough when a quarter of the album is about you getting bullied online?
Man's a keyboard cowboy and thinks that makes him a gunslinger.
Those beats were pretty dope though.

Impressive. Probably much more impressive in person
A bit repetitive but a nice slice of Americana. LDR is the inverse Chappell Roan. 3.5
Poetic. Heartfelt. Experimental. Some great lines and some filler. I understand what he was going for but not worth killing the collab with mr Garfunkel
Can I say fun? It was. An enjoyable listen from the angry white kid. 3.5
Sappy saccharine lyrics crooned over dull piano arrangements. Inoffensive, bland, devoid of character. She's got a great voice and that sax player was really going for it but this was about as exciting as a Christian rock festival. 1.5
Groovy. Fun. Shallow. Pure jam band. 2.5
