You're Living All Over Me by Dinosaur Jr.

Jennifer says that all Dinosaur Jr. sounds the same, yeah it’s all fucking awesome!

White Ladder by David Gray
Jun 26 2025

Really boring. The music didn’t add anything to his voice and every song was sung the same way. Some catchy songs though. Will never listen to this again on purpose.

Ten by Pearl Jam

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Jun 29 2025

Janis Joplin’s “Pearl” showcases her talent, but sounds more like collection of songs than album. Makes sense given the posthumous release. The backing band is great, and the name “Full Tilt Boogie Band” is kickass. Despite Janis Joplins talent and influence this is not my style at all. I have no doubt it was more impactful to those hearing it before the decades worth of music made afterwards. It all sounds the same to me, the highlights being “Cry Baby”, “Me and Bobby McGee” and “Mercedes Benz” (which I remember my Mom singing, as I inherited my love of Porsches from my Dad).

Chris by Christine and the Queens

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Jul 09 2025

Better and better the more I listened to it. The way it takes shape as he plays was pretty amazing.

Jul 10 2025

Hated every second of it. Dont care how original it is or that it’s 60 yrs old. I’ve heard so much better and worse music with this sound prior to listening to this that it really fails to impress. If you told me it was written in the 90s for a drug flashback scene in a shitty movie I would totally believe you.

Sister by Sonic Youth
Jul 13 2025

Not that enjoyable to listen to. Maybe they actually are cooler than everybody else, just sounds like songs that arent good are the point?

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Jul 22 2025

Pretty good, nowhere near Funeral IMO

...The Dandy Warhols Come Down by The Dandy Warhols
Jul 23 2025

Pretty boring. Maybe in 1997 it was something new, but if you’re going to call yourselves the Dandy Warhols you gotta come stronger than that.

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

I enjoyed this much more than I expected. This is an album, songs don’t necessarily stand up in their own. I was surprised at the range and musicality.

It's Too Late to Stop Now by Van Morrison
Jul 31 2025

I think if you’re a big Van Morrison fan you’d really love this. I like him enough, and this was a great live recording, but didn’t knock my socks off. Kind of gave me James Brown for white dad vibes though.

Aha Shake Heartbreak by Kings of Leon
Aug 03 2025

Can’t take a whole album of this guys voice, but they do have some good sounds and good songs.

You're Living All Over Me by Dinosaur Jr.
Aug 04 2025

Play by Moby
Aug 05 2025

Background music of the highest order. I don’t remember if this was cool in 2000, but today it sounds like “cool music” from the 2000s. There are definitely some good songs but overall it’s pretty banal and I’m not sure if I even listened to the whole thing.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Aug 06 2025
Funeral by Arcade Fire
Aug 07 2025

One of my favorite albums ever

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Aug 09 2025

Pretty good. Actually recognized the first song

Viva Hate by Morrissey
Aug 10 2025

Ok, not a lot of melody picked up on right away.

Ritual De Lo Habitual by Jane's Addiction
Aug 13 2025

I bet Perry Ferrel seems is a scumbag. Some good songs on this. Heavy but not too much

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
