Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Jul 02 2025

Classic album I have on CD. Many of my favorites on this one.

Green by R.E.M.
Jul 03 2025

Pop Song is good and memorable. As is Orange Crush. I am reminded how much I hate “Stand” as it was used in “Get a Life”. This is coming from a long-time REM hater. They are the reason why we have bands like Coldplay.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jul 04 2025

Solid rock/metal album. I’m not an Iron Maiden fan but this was satisfying from start to finish. I’m not rushing out to purchase the vinyl or even add to my “liked songs” on Spotify. But I’d certainly give it a spin again. This is different than the other Iron Maiden songs I’ve heard. Definitely seems like a debut album and they were still finding their sound.

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Jul 05 2025

Not a BB fan but I like the weird psychedelic style of the album.

Jul 06 2025

I like John Lennon and much of his solo work so I figured this would be a good listen though I was hesitant because it has Yoko’s name on it. An overall pleasant album but a little too soft for my taste. Hold On, Working Class Hero, and Well Well Well are the standouts for me.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jul 07 2025

I like John Lennon and much of his solo work so I figured this would be a good listen though I was hesitant because it has Yoko’s name on it. An overall pleasant album but a little too soft for my taste. Hold On, Working Class Hero, and Well Well Well are the standouts for me.

Tommy by The Who
Jul 08 2025

Classic album. I grew up listening to this. Great from beginning to end though I can see how a couple of tracks might not be loved by all due to their quirkiness given that it is basically a soundtrack.

Jul 09 2025

This was a new artist to me. Very talented voice and the musicianship was excellent. But it didn’t really grip me. It was too busy sounding.

Truth And Soul by Fishbone
Jul 11 2025

Awesome album by the greatest!

Smash by The Offspring
Jul 12 2025

I tried. But alas, the vocals ruined it. Was overplayed in the 90s.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Jul 15 2025

Great album. Love how it builds from acoustic to electric. Was a little shorter than I hoped.

Planet Rock: The Album by Afrika Bambaataa
Jul 16 2025

The beginnings of hip hop and rap. Some familiar samples. A little go-go. One track even shows the influence on Nine Inch Nails. A little repetitive, but still enjoyable.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jul 17 2025
Nevermind by Nirvana
Jul 19 2025

Classic album. Nothing to say because I’ve listened to all the songs a million times.

Basket of Light by Pentangle
Jul 20 2025

This was a tough listen. Many of the songs felt like church songs or some medieval band. Train Song was the only track that wasn’t completely annoying.
