1001 Albums Summary

Hated the first song, far too Pink Floyd like, felt a bit more charitable towards song 3 Hide in your Shell. Asylum is very Elton John. Given up by Rudy, really not enjoying this album, just not for me.

Can’t fault the production, Dr Dre makes this album. Most of the content is a bit too childish and try hard for me, but it’s listenable. Not one I’ll be returning to, his later work is better.

Really liked this, music to dance to. The singles are the stand out tracks.

Glorious. Sounds just as good as it did when I was 17 and it was one of the five CDs I got from Britannia Music Club and listened to it to death. Love it as much as OK Computer

The second early Cure album in a week. I think I preferred Seventeen Seconds, but only just. A challenging listen, not for me

Didn’t think I’d enjoy this, but was pleasantly surprised. Sounds quintessentially 80s, even though it was made in the 70s.

Nice background music

Meh, generally quite boring. Was probably incredibly influential over the past 35 years. I liked the rock song.
