I enjoy death metal and grindcore as much of the next person. This album deserves respect for what it started. However, there's other better recorded, groovier, heavier stuff out there now.
This album surprised me. I only knew Alice Cooper for his big gothic hits like "school's out" and "poison". The whole album has a wide mix of sounds with elements of jazz and all sorts. A very fun listen. Favourite track: Blue Turk
One of my favourite albums. Some really interesting production in this one with some very angry synth fights. Really captures the child-like wonder and imagination it's going for, for a delightful and hopeful listening adventure.
