Tellin’ Stories
The CharlatansI have never heard this album before. The whole album fits that late 90s festival rock genre. It vibes like Remy Zero with a Southern USA church organ for a band that also has Oasis and early Radiohead overtones.

Gorgeous
A side has all of the hits. B side is full of experimental deep cuts that don’t seem to flow well together.
This album is great from start to finish A side is full of hits and songs that have been covered by other artist; such as Planet Caravan, which was covered by Pantera. B sides are loaded with deep cuts that flows well together. Its beautifully arranged.
The 16 yr version would had said this was a perfect album. The almost 50 year old guy thinks think this is an almost perfect album.. Whiskey bar was almost perfect, and then it turn Epstein creepy. The End has an Oedipus complex.
Its a great showcase of Bruce, the Folk singer. Nebraska captures the desolation of the plains. Atlantic City is one of my favorites of the album.
So many funky themes that have been sampled and influenced musicians of today.
Classic
A few classics and lot of great rock n roll. Ranking Tom Petty for Tom Petty, this album is great, but not the absolute classic that Tom Petty has released.
Not many bands can release an album that has a similar voice to the first album, but has more to say. This album does that.
Iconic album that popularized Grunge and that Seattle sound. My brother brought this CD home when I was living in rural KY when he borrowed it from his friend. When I heard it, I was wondering what was happening in Seattle at the time that created such a sound, and why and I still here in Kentucky? This album began a phase in my life where the Seattle SuperSonics became my Team on NBA Jam and I wanted to go to college at University of Washington.
It’s a generous three stars… Grove is in the yard was one of my jams that I used to play when I DJ. Nothing else off the album seem to make the hairs of my skin jump.
