Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Jul 22 2025

Good guitar riffs, but I’m not a fan. Made for a musical.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Jul 23 2025

The music was too slow for me. Nice acoustic guitar through the album, but not a fan.

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

Iconic album for early metal fans. Wasp is the best song on this album. So many bands try to imitate the sound. R.I.P. Ozzy

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Jul 25 2025

This album makes you think about the trials and tribulations of inner city life in Chicago and in America. Iconic debut b4 the crazy came out! Collaborating with hip hop’s greatest rappers. Several hits songs in one album. Skits are Crazy, stupid, and hilarious!

Be by Common
Jul 26 2025

The album has a mix of gospel, blues, soul, jazz and hip-hop. Common’s poetry of life in Chicago, Black history and culture gives a positive vibe to hip-hop, that makes Common a legend. Not many hit songs, but the lyrics are attention grabbing.

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
Jul 28 2025

Sounds like any of these songs in the album could be in a Tarantino film!

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Jul 29 2025

Futuristic sounds fusing Afro beats, Hip hop, jazz, classical, big band, dance and R&b in a Theatrical/futuristic style. An audiophile’s treasure trove of sounds. The lyrics bring love, feminism, self identity and expression. Sounds like Barry Manilow , Beyoncé, OutKast, prince, Michael Jackson. Songs are good for workouts!

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Jul 30 2025

Part 2 of Marvin Gaye’s inner city blues. Important album brings counter culture in the black community. Songs about junkies, dealers, and pimps/gangsters. Album is and extension to the super fly soundtrack, but the message is clear “We can all deal with rockets (NASA) and dreams (MLK), but reality, what does it mean?”

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Jul 31 2025

The beginning of the album has the best hits with Mr. Brightside", "Somebody Told Me", "All These Things That I've Done" and "Smile Like You Mean It". After these hits the album fizzles out and becomes background music!

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Aug 01 2025

Arcade fire’s sound becomes redundant and winy after awhile. I can handle a few of their songs and “wake up” “rebellion” are the only 2 songs I like in this album.

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Aug 02 2025

Hands down one of the top albums for Mettalica and for metal fans. I can’t get enough of the mellow quitar sounds then thrusting into hard guitar riffs and lyrics. A must for anyone tired of the “system”!

Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys
Aug 03 2025

Yawn! Not a fan of this Album. More into what was played on the radio in the early 80s. Suberbia, west end and it’s a sin.

Odessa by Bee Gees
Aug 04 2025

Very richly orchestrated album with the “Bee Gees” signature vocals. I never knew they did music outside of disco! Lyrics are impressive.

Odelay by Beck
Aug 05 2025

Who let Jesse Eisenberg make an album! Great radio played songs with an eclectic synthesized sounds of hip hop, bluegrass, blues, rock and country!

Aug 07 2025

An audiophile’s delight. These guys are trailblazers in the electronica genre. Reminiscent of earlier bands like The Art of Noise and Depeche Mode.
