Green Onions
Booker T. & The MG's
Great title track but the album lacks depth and feels like a perfunctory collection of 60s rnb tunes that are well-played but lack any excitement. It's good jukebox fodder but would not reward repeat listens. 5/10.

Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath
A genuine classic. Defined a genre. The most important of the heavy rock bands to come out of post-Beatles England and their impact is still being felt now.
Itβs heavy blues with elements of jazz, more subtle and elemental than many would think.

Hard Again
Muddy Waters
As good as the blues gets. Proving after many white bands had stolen his sound, he was the original.
