Black Sabbath
Black SabbathAbsolute classic. Despite sounding so blues influenced, this is the dawn of heavy metal. RIP Ozzy.

Great introduction to classic southern rock. Halfway through I was thinking that this is prime "Top Gear" music and then realised they wrote Jessica.
Folk music and its poetry just isn't for me.
Okay, the positive is that the production is stellar. However this album has aged like milk.
The singles are the hits on this one but a very important indie progenitor.
It's flawless, isn't it?
Maybe I'm in the minority here but this is definitely side project territory and doesn't come close to the heights of Blur.
Some instant classics like Maps but overall inconsistent.
Proto-Floyd sounding like a completely different band to the classics. Psychedelic and whimsical.
Far more experimental than I presumed it would be.
Super dark, atmospheric and moody. I wonder if NIN are on this list somewhere....
My only exposure to Common is his acting as Sims in Silo. Soulful but just not my bag.
I don't really have much to say about this one. Sort of background soft rock?
Brass in Pocket raises this one to 2 Stars - just a little boring otherwise.
So many more hits on this one.
The 1 Star is for me putting up with this drivel - reaffirms my loathing of Morrissey.
Great concept of a pirate radio station - but I'm increasingly finding these older albums just boring.
No redeeming features with these repetitive, simple songs.
Have I got the right list here? Trash human makes a trash album. Full of misogyny and absolutely no redeeming musical features.
