Lovely lyrics, the whole album has a vibe that just can’t be found anymore. The guitar work is phenomenal and stands out.
I needed to listen to this album. I forgot how well the feel and lyricism stand out here. Al Green is A-class work as a musician.
Great introduction to ska as a genre and has such an iconic song as well. It wasn’t my favorite listen so far but still stood out on its own.
It was an emotionally driven album with great pop beats and musical taken.
And a genius he was! What a great album.
Phenomenal experimental album. Kept me hooked all the way through.
An empowering example of music and culture. What a fantastic listen.
Pavements start into the world of albums and it is exactly how you want it to go. This album has some sore spots but the heart of who pavement will be.
Excellent jazz album with some great tunes. Take five was my personal favorite off the album
