Metallica by Metallica
Aug 04 2025

One of the best opening duo of songs ever. Not every song hits, but the ones that do hit really hard.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Aug 05 2025

Some great songs, some really great production. Each individual song is good to great, but it overstays its welcome and feels a bit too "Samey" after a while.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Aug 07 2025

I like Cash, I have never liked live albums

Parachutes by Coldplay
Aug 19 2025

I know a lot of people think a certain way of Coldplay today, but when this album released it was a breath of fresh air. To this day, it is one of my favorites. The tonal sensibilities of Radiohead blended with the melodies and song structures of more traditional alt/pop. Catchy, emotional and cathartic. An all time debut.

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Sep 16 2025

Outside of the two tracks I had heard (Yoshimi Pt. 1 and Do You Realize??) it all just kind of washed over me with no lasting impact. It was a good listen, sure, but I'm not sure I'll revisit it.

Fragile by Yes
Sep 17 2025

Some real bangers on here, but a lot of it just doesn't work for me.

Django Django by Django Django
Sep 25 2025

I really like this album - I adored it when it came out. But I am confused as to why this album is on this list when Alt-J's An Awesome Wave was released the same year and is in my opinion better and had a much larger cultural impact.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Nov 03 2025

A timeless and incredibly poignant protest rock album. We gotta take the fuckin power back!
