Some obvious hits (I'm Waiting For The Man, Heroin), but heard some that were new to me (Sunday Morning, Run Run Run). Cool sound for 1967.
Solid 2 opening tracks and closing track.
Great album.
It’s decent. Funky. Quincy Jones’ production is great.
Awesome.
Fine. The first few tracks are great.
It’s French rap, not my favorite but interesting.
Solid English punk band I hadn’t heard of.
Awesome album.
One hit song, but not for me
If you like The Jam, and don’t like Jazz, you’re going to have a bad time.
It’s not great driving to work at 8am music, but it is good jazzy music to put on while making dinner. It’s also pretty long.
I’ve never really listened to Nick Cave in much detail before. Definitely talented, but the songs seem to be mostly piano ballads. For some reason (probably seeing The Bad Seeds in Wings of Desire), I thought they were punkier/rockier. It’s not bad, the music and lyrics are beautiful, but I’m not sure when I’d seek this out myself.
First few tracks were good. Otherwise pretty ok-ish British house music. Not something I’d seek out again most likely.
Bob Marley.
Some good songs. I hadn’t actively looked at any of Joni Mitchell’s work before.
This reminds me a lot of early 60s Zappa/Mothers psych music. Cool sound.
It’s 80s metal-y. I’m not huge on that genre.
