Bug by Dinosaur Jr.

I can understand that some people may not like this; it's loud and it's unpolished. However, as a fan of this kind of alternative rock, I'm the target audience for this album. Still don't think it's particularly inspired. Pretty cool though!

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Aug 25 2025

I don't even need to finish the album to give it 5 stars. Nina Simone is the best voice of all time.

I wish there were more albums like this

As Amy Santiago would say "Ya Boring"

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Sep 02 2025

I remember the first time I listened to this album, many years ago, in my dad's car. First song in and I thought, "woah, this is great", second song canme in: "amazing". Third song "another great song"... We reached the end of the album and I really enjoyed every song of it. It was probably the first time that that had happened to me. After that I "borrowed" the CD from my dad and listened to it many times in my room. Actually, I never returned the album to my dad haha The energy, the RAGE, Morello's riffs, Zack De La Rocha name and singing, the whole "no samples, keyboards or synthesizers used in the making of this record", made this album the coolest album ever to me at the time. And I guess that many years later, I still feel the same way.

The Boatman's Call by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

It's really unfair to judge this album. I mean, PJ Harvey had broken up with him, I can't think of anything more devastating than that.

Paint It Black and a bunch of generic rock songs

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
Sep 11 2025

It's not bad. But I'm pretty sure I've written, in my bedroom, better songs than some of the ones in here. But I didn't even record them because I thought they were not good enough. Maybe I'm just not a fan of this genre.

In Utero by Nirvana
