Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Aug 28 2025

First time listening to Bruce Springsteen. A good start to jump into this 1001 album adventure. Old-fashioned rock and roll with a bit of twinge. It was a good listen that felt right for the week I've had. A 7/10 for me. Mini0n, 28/08/2025

Guero by Beck
Aug 29 2025

This was the first time I really listened to Beck. I enjoyed the album way more than I expected. 2000s vibes rock with some influences from rap and folk. Felt pretty alternative and, at the same time, well-planned. My rating: 8-8.5/10 mini0n [29/08/2025]

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Sep 01 2025

This one was very new and strange to me. I don't think I was familiar with this music style, and yet, I feel I may have heard some of the songs previously somewhere. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I can feel this is good music, well-composed and well-produced. It made me think of old rock and The Beatles. The disc felt somewhat happy, and silly and harshy and daring. It's not my cup of tea, but I can feel it is good. My personal rating would be: 7.8/10. mini0n [02/09/2025]

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Sep 02 2025

I had never heard the album from start to end before. I enjoyed it very much. It was heavy and intense and somehow melodic. For me, this is 8 out of 10. mini0n 10/09/2025

Sep 03 2025

I love MGMT. I'm sure I've listened to this album before. It may be my mood, but I didn't enjoy it quite the same this time. Still, I think it's a solid album, and it reflects the indie style that shone through the 2010s. For me, it's an 8.5 out of 10. mini0n, 10/09/2025

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Sep 04 2025

I didn't know who Neil Young was until I started hearing the music. I liked this album a lot. Rock and blues, the guitars, the harmonica. It made me feel so good and somehow also melancholic. My favorite one has to be Thrasher. For me it is 4.5/5 mini0n, 04/09/2025

Atomizer by Big Black
Sep 05 2025

I knew nothing about the band. I've never heard their music before. It came heavy, frenetic, distorted, and raw. It took me a bit to catch the mood but afterwards it was a noisy bliss. I was able to feel elements from shoegaze and punk. For me, it's a 4/5. mini0n, 05/09/2025

Sep 08 2025

I liked this album very, very much. I didn't know anything about this band, and it ended up making my night way happier with the punk rock and ska energy that they bring. My rate: 4.5/5 mini0n, 08/09/2025

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Sep 09 2025

I can see how this is a great album. It felt so classy and yet so warm. So happy and yet so far. It was a peculiar feeling, but a pleasant one. I liked it a lot. Not exactly my cup of tea, but it's a good one. For me, it's an 8.5 mini0n, 11/09/2025

Yeezus by Kanye West
Sep 10 2025

I've never really been into hip-hop, but there are some songs here and there I do like a lot, and since a lot of people praised Kanye as a genius, I was ready to have my mind blown. But it didn't happen. I really couldn't find anything special here. And I tried. It's very likely because I'm not familiar with the style, but still. I found it boring. It was the usual yada, yada about being the best and all that. For me, it was a 5 out 10. mini0n 11/09/2025

Odessa by Bee Gees
Sep 11 2025

Wonderful album. I didnt know the Bee Gees played rock. I only knew them for their iconic disco songs. Enjoyed this album a lot. my rate: 9 out 10

Signing Off by UB40
Sep 12 2025

I hadn't thought about reggae when I started this journey. I enjoyed the disc. I liked that a lot of the songs had some rock and jazz influences. It bored a bit by the end, but it may be just me, I have never been a big fan of reggeae but I certainly enjoyed it. For me it was a 8 of 10

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Sep 16 2025

Great album! I really enjoyed it. This is the Hip Hop that I like. The Kayne kind feels very meh. This, on the other hand, is funny, creative, with soul and a message. Loved it For me, 8.8 out fo 10 since not a biig fan of hip hop

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Oct 06 2025

I'm a fan of Soundgarden and the grungy sound of the '90s. Love the atmosphere, the guitars, the voice, the lyrics. Not much to add. This is a 9.3 out of 10 for me.

Pornography by The Cure
Oct 07 2025

This has to be one of my favorite albums. It helped build the new-wave and darkwave sounds. the distortion and Robert Smith's voice go just so well rate: 9.5/10

The Sounds Of India by Ravi Shankar
