Truth And Soul by Fishbone
Sep 03 2025

A mix of hair band, ska, and a breath of Soul? It was enjoyable enough, but nothing really resonated with me.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Sep 04 2025

He goes to some dark places, but knows how to tell a story. Some catchy tunes and a lot to think about.

War by U2
Sep 05 2025

It's U2. It's...fine. I'm sure it had impact for people who lived through a certain moment of time. It's pretty benign to listen to, nothing I love but nothing I especially dislike.

Sep 08 2025

They have a very consistent guitar-driven sound. Lyrically complex, full of hope, longing, and introspection.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Sep 09 2025

As a rule, I dislike AC/DC solely on the basis of the screamy, raspy vocals. However, the guitar riffs are good and the beat is solid.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Sep 10 2025

He knows how to tell a story, and the flow of the record is intriguing. His voice hadn't gone raspy yet and I appreciate all the instruments involved. Overall it just doesn't resonate with me.

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Sep 11 2025

Not my usual genre, but this was a solid disco record. Great vocals, beats, and I really enjoyed the slower tracks as well.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Sep 12 2025

I enjoy the sound of the album, but not a lot really stands out to me.

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Sep 15 2025

Honestly I'm not too well-acquainted with the band, but Kashmir is familiar. Great riffs and lyrics throughout. Not necessarily stuff I'd sing along with, but it's good background music.
