An album I rarely think to turn on, and fully delight in it every time. The versatility, the bluesy undertones, Mick's voice at it's very best... What's not to love?
Have zero chill when it comes to this album. Coming in between Funeral and Suburbs means it gets swallowed/shit on, but it's some of their best work. I love every minute of every song. The riff/bridge in The Well and the Lighthouse? A damn delight! My Body is a Cage inspired a Peter Gabriel cover. INTERVENTION. The organ work across it all? Like I said, zero chill. I know Win isn't for everybody but this album is a work of true musical genius in my very fangirl opinion.
A fun listen, just not something I feel like I'll return to often. His voice is also just kind of terrible?
No surprise I have a soft spot for Queen. This isn't A Night at the Opera, but has some gems. The good ones are really good, but they aren't all so. Freddie is just a treasure.
Hate to admit it, but it still slaps. Just cringey to listen to now.
Redefining Dad Rock
Not totally for me, but I can appreciate it
Predictably adore it
