Revolver by Beatles
Sep 09 2025

Solid album. One good thing about the Beatles is they have a very distinct sound, but not all their songs sound the same. I appreciated the variety of instruments on this album. Some Beatles songs are just kinda weird, but I liked most of the songs on this album. Eleanor Rigby is just so good. Love me some strings. 8.3 out of 10. Baker approved.

Sep 10 2025

I feel like all the songs just blended together. It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t particularly like it. I like the instrumentals on several songs, but I felt like the singing didn’t match the vibe of the music. Baker loved the drums though.

Calenture by The Triffids
Sep 11 2025

I liked it more than the previous album, but still not anything in particular that stood out. It sounded like a basic 80s album, just not necessarily a good one. I liked the song “Save What You Can” though. 5.7/10

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Sep 13 2025

I really liked this album. I just felt like the songs got kinda long after a while and they all ended up sounding very similar. Really liked their sound though.

Younger Than Yesterday by The Byrds
Sep 14 2025

I liked a lot of the songs, but some of them were just absolutely not it.

Some good songs, some weird songs. I liked the sound of the majority of the album, but I realized that it’s probably a familiarity thing. If I had never heard Queen before in my life, I don’t know if I really would’ve liked it. Also the first song scared Baker
