Tapestry
Carole KingThis album is too slow and mellow for my vibes but with songs from Gilmore Girls and Shrek plus other ear worms it does have value to it.

Paint it black, alright good start...........then came the rest of the album. Felt like I was in a smokey bar that just needed background music that no is really listening to.
This is the chaotic good part of the 80s. Cyndi Lauper is a true icon. This album is so bright and warm like the sun on a stroll through the park. The song order felt a bit out of sync but that just added to the chaotic energy.
So much Scott Pilgrim vibes. Messy, all over the place. Not bad, not great, just okay.
I had a hard time sitting through it, I had to break it up. The first few songs sounded the same. I have only heard of Elliot Smith but never listened, I can hear some other bands styles throughout so I'm assuming he was an inspiration to quite a few people.
Never heard of this band before. The first song surprised me because it wasn't what I was expecting it sound. I did enjoy it but it quickly faded. Songs didn't feel original and I guess it's because they're covers or have been covered numerous times. Wasn't all bad but won't listen to again.
Could only listen to the one song. This a a band I would want to see live but can't listen to recorded. The song was full of energy for sure but was all over the place.
Enjoyed this. I love storytelling songs like this. Many Bowie hits on here as well.
I put this on but didn't really listen to it. I just couldn't get into the jam band feel.
Great album!
Only knew "Our House", which is an ok song. I felt like the rest of the album was so much better. I enjoyed this listen
