1001 Albums Summary

A bit too grungy for me, but it surely has dynamism and edginess a-plenty. I remember buying it when it was first released. I’m looking at the cd cover as I write. Maybe my music evolution is the reason I find it now harsher on the ear than I might ordinarily wish to listen to now. 😳. Great start to my 1001 albums though.

I hate to be down on somebody’s body of work - but just not my thing. For me lacks complexity and not music that I can find an occasion for where I may be able to warm to it more.

Better than I remember but still not my thing!

This is more my kind of thing. Remember it well coming out at the time. What a voice, what a vibe. Awesome. Alternative. Not classic 'pop' that we were listening at the same time.

Liked hearing ‘Alive’ again and really listening to the words. Otherwise ok.

No questioning the talent and maelstrom of music made by these guys jamming - but not an easy listen. Wonderful yet as my wife just said - not to her taste.

Can’t stand rap in general

A classic. Not always to my taste but I can appreciate the art.

Horrible. Anything with ‘n%gger’ in it it f%ck the police in it is a massive turn off for me. Can’t listen to it.
