Eternally Yours
The SaintsFun overall. 2nd song is a bop More jangly guitar rock than punk Sounds both of its time and contemporary on some songs?

An old fave. You could never make me hate this album.
This is about where I'd started trailing off in my love for Radiohead's music. However, still probably better than a lot of records out there.
I love and appreciate Dolly as an exemplary human. But country music makes my Black immigrant skin crawl. The bassist on this is 🔥, though.
Not my favourite Smiths album, but there are some gems on here.
Sounds very of it's time. And honestly no track really reached out and grabbed me.
Pleasant, with a few familiar favourites.
I remember my dad bringing this home and us listening to it together. Peak teen memory. Still holds up. But absolutely did not remember the track "Mother". Wildly different than anything else they ever did.
The plodding, chugging guitars at the forefront aren't my bag.
I've honestly already forgotten it.
It swings, baby. Felt too short! I could have listened to Ray for another hour.
Nice to revisit this after a long while. Still holds up.
Kind of a mess. These did not need to be 20 minute songs. In two of the tracks there are sections that are quite engaging and interesting. But there's a reason I hate jam bands. This is mostly directionless, disjointed and self-indulgent. I mean, the musicianship is fine, but does that matter if I tune out 2 minutes in?
It's okay. Other than Blueberry Hill, a straight up downtempo blues album for the most part.
So much feeling. While this is also a straight blues album, it just has so much more heft than the Fats Domino record. It may be partly due to the energy of the live audience, but it may just be because he really is the King of the Blues. Could have listened to another hour of this.
Another forgotten gem from my youth. While no "Life's Rich Pageant", this album still has plenty of that lush sound I love so much from early days R.E.M.
Definitely sounds of its time. It's okay.
I didn't even need to relisten, but I did. An eternal classic.
