1001 Albums Summary

I wish I'd enjoyed this more, but it's not quite my kind of folk. Beautiful melodies but the lyrics didn't stir me - perhaps on a second listen? Enjoyed the final 10 min track a lot though

Incredible highs even if a few tracks dragged slightly - crazy I've never properly listened to this as a whole album before. I love a little found audio snippet track- also fan of fertiliser

Listening to the hits in context really changes them Torn between a 4 or 5 for this one ...fuck it, Tracy gets five cause I love her

It's tricky was a high- hit it run and raising hell brought it down for me. Honestly it dragged a bit, even though I liked a few songs don't think I'll need to relisten to this as an album. First one I really felt I was waiting to be done with at multiple songs.

Found it boring while also being too much... Didn't finish (have decided that's allowed lol)

Okay, I love the kinks and I love what this album is doing and addressing But do I need to relisten in full? Did it leave an impact? Not massively, so only three stars But no less love for all that

Kinda schlocky and not in a good way. Bad news always reminds me of you was my fave, but not enough to rate highly.

Absolutely not my kind of thing, still tried to listen with a willingness to change my mind...but it didn't.

Really loved the opening tracks and found mother's lament weirdly charming Never properly listened to Cream before and was pleasantly surprised- relistened to the first half

Real mixed bag this one, loved some and for others it dragged. Going back (both versions) were hits but don't think I'll feel the need to listen in it's entirety again
