Enjoyed this on a first listen - easy listening, poppy, fun, makes me feel like I'm in a film about a camp villain, good mood lifter. Some interesting melodies, sounds and modulations as well, strong brass sections. Lol at the guy in brownface on the cover. New Delhi is by far the worst song on the album. I see why people call it a brexit album. Second listen: I’m a little tired by midway. Favourites: Rise and Fall, Tomorrow's (Just Another Day), Our House, Mr Speaker Context Famous songs by Madness - Our House, House of Fun, Baggy Trousers From Camden, 1970s-1980s Two-tone ska revival (post-punk/reggae influences)

Nice but generic indie rock album. Fav track was probably Suffering.

like the organ / orchestral bits - a bit cheesy? churchy bits go a bit christmassy sometimes , I think overall not for me

I can feel the pain in her voice, strings are a bit much tho

More my speed! Fav album yet. Joyous funky psychedelic rock, strong soul / gospel influences, great bass riffs
