Right away catchy beat. She’s preaching gospel song 2… PREACHHHH
Unexpectedly bluesy, flows well, never had the urge to skip, no songs stood out to me though
first song is viral, kinda good till the robot starts, then it’s kinda noise music, currently i don’t know who’s listening to it. It’s kinda giving pink floyd, or what i think they sound like. I’ve had the urge to skip, no songs are playlist worthy.. good drums and beats really tight, just not for daily listening
It’s a U2 albums.. idk what else to say. Masterpiece, i hope Love is Blindness made it onto a james bond soundtrack
Starts out with a classic from shrek, so many good ones on this album. So good, last song carried on a min too long though sorry david
Kinda emo so far... im sure it really speaks to teenagers. too long, i don't get the hype
so 2010s, intro is so overplayed but not their fault.
it's kinda giving spooky castle video game music, with german vocals. F.I.A.T really feels like boss fight music, maybe its just because it's the 80s? idk.. It's really reminding me of Rammstein, but it's probably just the aggressive german tbh.. everything past Herz-Felde is a sloggggg. Krst raised my blood pressure.
very soundtracky, great songs with terrible endings making them kinda unlistenable in a playlist way. Good background music. Great album art, bringing this to a pro life protest for sure.
No awards from Qobuz.. It feels like all the 80s Duran Duran esque bands were distilled into this album. Every song kinda sounds the same, the lyrics feel meaningless and repetitive, sleeping gas felt like an assault on my ears. my fucking god.
choir on save the life of my child is so fun, voices of old people is kinda iconic. This album is kinda giving over pretentious art student, but it might just be the turtlenecks. I hope they had fun making this album.
So distinct, album maintains a consistent musical theme. But maybe all music from the police sounds the same... this just in it does
Love the album art, was scared it would be hardcore scream, really shocked by the jangly guitar... False advertising. Nondescript background 90s house music so far. Good work music it's not distracting. No longer true as of Higher than the Sun, kinda funky beat tho. Come Together is so repetitive credits roll loop.
Truly a master of her craft. A pleasant surprise to hear the GG theme, didn't realize that was miss Carole King
Theres 60s sound, but also feels modern.
This might be cheating, but I listened to the 60th anniversary addition of this album instead, which cut about an hour off the runtime thank the lord. Boiling it down to just the music best showcasing the Duke himself. Duke Ellington was my introduction to jazz, and is still my favourite artist in the genre. The chugging blues scale holding down the base makes his music feel alive, and more approachable. Gets the toes a tappin.
Listen, there are some really great queen songs, but overall it really just feels lke 80s theater kid music. Holy cow they have so many albums. Crazy sound for the early 70s actually, very Queen.
Great atmospheric music, very well blended, incredibly cinematic no wonder they've done more than a few soundtracks. That being said, I won't reach for this record again.
So smooth so far, 2005 was one of the best years for RnB and Hip Hop, really reminding me of early kanye.. oh because hes literally on it..
raw, unbothered, quite the rocker, Kimberly is my fave song so far... Elegie really reminds me of The Last Dinner Party, wonder if it served as inspiration
dad rock, the same wavering not like the other boys kinda voice, not meant to be understood type beat. Great campfire music (derogatory).. Sedan Delivery is kinda a banger
60s brit rock album, theres not much more to say, kinda cliche at points but I suppose that was just the popular sound, kinda rockin, kinda annoying. Fave song was the kinda are all right, the cover of heatwave was kinda fun and unexpected.
Loretta Lynn you absolute legend, churning out stompers like its nothing. This album came out 7 whole years before women in the US could take out a loan, a mortgage, or a credit card without the signature of a man. She sang of the lived experience of women in that time, and she was a rebel for it.
This is actively making me anxious... Okay after the first song I get the vibe, spooky ooky and full of fun. Not something I'd return to, but I don't regret my time listening to it
Real funky, great vibes. Can't see myself coming back to it
