1001 Albums Summary

This album goes for roughly 3.79 lunar years. Incredibly evocative of the feelings of isolation & paranoia. Self-indulgent to the max, but with enough stellar moments to justify wading through some of the more turgid entries.

The 70’s were weird.

First album that came up that I’ve never heard of. Really nice grooves throughout.

There’s a parallel world where Fran Healy marries Gwyneth Paltrow and ends up doing terrible pop songs with the Chainsmokers. Alas, there was only room for 1 on the beige megastar train. I will however defend Driftwood as pop-rock perfection.

There’s half of a brilliant album here before it meanders out a bit. Still that opening 5 song run hits like millennial crack.

Shleep paralysis demon maybe… like letting your weird unemployed uncle loose in a recording studio.
