Good album, 7.9/10. First half I really enjoyed and it's memorable. It's groovy and lots of good rhythms and catchy. Then the last song is iconic. I've listen to bits and pieces of this album but it's a good listen through. It carries the same vibe throughout the album. Overall, I can smell the cigarettes and feel the 79 degree temperature of the studio room when this album was made.
First song is iconic. The whole album was kind of forgettable the first listen, but then the second listen I started to understand the vibe of it all. Seems like a chill album for a nice cup of coffee on a rainy day. I think I will revisit this album but so far it didn't stick much on my mind after 2 listens. 6.8/10
Folksy 60s sound. Every new listen was more impactful from the last. It's really easy run through of the album since it's fairly short but there's some good songs in there the last song made me feel very sad. I didn't know who they were but then after some research I found they made 2 other famous songs. I think i will revisit this album for sure. 6.9/10
Good album. I kind of only like selective songs from their discography but it was a fun full listen of the album. They're good at having rhythm and they don't have over complicated music. 7.4/10
I resonated with this album a bit. It did feel like a long album but some songs hit just right. I did already know 2 songs in there but the extra songs around them are good. It was a great first listen through and I am already looking forward to my next listen but I am not sure I'll be able to listen to the whole thing again. The drums are what I mostly vibes with, that drummer is amazing and the guitar has some riffs that I vibe with for sure. It's definitely an album that I've been sleeping on for a while so I am glad I got to listen through the whole thing now. 7.6/10
Some interesting stuff in here. Overall, it definitely takes time to adjust, get used to, and feel the vibes of it. I think first listen through is rough but after you give it a few listens I can tell it's good. I think I will revisit it, and eventually be a fan but not so much on just one listen through. I have high hopes though. 6.9/10, but I am sure it'll increase the more I listen to it.
