1001 Albums Summary

I really enjoyed this, a good 90s rap album with sort of jazzy elements in there.

Really enjoyed this as background music, like having a bit of a dance whilst doing some spring cleaning. Particularly the first song, Cherry-Coloured Funk, which I've listened to before but it was nice to hear again!

not my kind of music, sorry Mr Springsteen.

It's a no from me

its quite good! probably won't go back to it but an enjoyable listen and something a bit different to what I normally listen to!

a couple excellent songs mired by an overall mediocre albun

this is the kind if music you would play to a torture victim to keep them awake 24/7, absolutely awful.

this isn't music, it's a collection of random noises that are unpleasant to listen to together.. or alone

Christmas or whatever

an indie classic and an album I listened to a lot back in high school. Feels somewhat dated now but some of these songs still hit with the same energy. Solid good album!

this feels less like a music album, more like a theatre production done through music. That doesn't make sense but there's a scale here that exceeds that of a standard album and I love it. It feels like a journey, exploring musical genre through a performance, I'm trying to explain my thoughts but I don't quite have the words. I really enjoyed this.

Jazz is a genre I quite like and yet struggle with, I enjoy aspects of it but others I really struggle to get along with. Sadly this album embodies that to a T, its very clearly good quality music and I can enjoy that but its lacking something that makes me *want* to listen to it and truly enjoy it. It's an album I'll give another go if I ever get a high end audio set up with a quality pair of open backs

Camp 80s Gothic discothèque music. And then the singer is not befitting that vibe whatsoever. It's really good but to get 5/5 it needs a new vocalist

an album of slightly grating noise which didn't feel particularly musical to me. Not my genre whatsoever
