1001 Albums Summary

I feel nostalgic for another time, one that is before my time while listening to this album. It feels so familiar, as if I jammed out to this in my youth and am listening to it again for the first time in decades. I was born the year this album was released. It's a little vibey. I enjoyed it but I dont think I'd listen to it again. My favorite track was the albums name sake,The Bends, or High and Dry. Probably a 3.5 star for me.

Cinnamon Girl starts off the album strong, but it meanders. I didnt really like this at all. It felt like men going through a midlife crisis trying to live out their rockstar dreams of their youth. 1 star.

I'm trying to get past the "Schizoid Man" lyrics and just appreciate the instrumentals of the first song because the big band feeling is impressive, but as the album kept going the more I didnt like it.

RUNNING UP THAT HILL!!! but the album is very weird after it. I started questioning if I liked it around Mother Stands for Comfort. Its a little too out there for me. I felt like I was listening to a recording of pretentious art students doing an interpretive dance final.

I like other The Cure albums better.

I love this album. The movement throughout is so nice. It doesnt get overwhelming or drag out. It was a real nice change from the other artists the algorithm generated.

I dont have proof but this feels like the Christmas album that started the Christmas music industry. Full of classics.

This is fine. I recognized some songs but it wasn't like exceptional

I dont know why this is on this list. It feels like you can only enjoy this if you're half naked in the woods in the middle of summer high.

I was let down by this album. I was excited because I really like one song by her, but this was not it.

I just dont like rap. I can appreciate the message behind some of the lyrics but this was not the vibe for me today.
