So by Peter Gabriel

experimental 80s art rock that reminds me in some ways of Kate Bush (maybe because she is featured on "Don't Give Up") REEEED RAAAAIN is coming down is a great opener, I also liked "Mercy Street" and "In Your Eyes", but I think it needs a few more listens to really shine.

The White Album by Beatles
Dec 20 2025

A real classic. Some of the best Beatles' songs on it (While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Happiness Is A Warm Gun back to back is a crazy combo). The first heavy metal song (Helter Skelter). Experimental Revolution 9. But I think generally it could be a bit shorter.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Dec 21 2025

wasn't my cup of team, opener was great, but I wasn't in a mood for this kind of music - I don't see myself revisiting this one

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Dec 24 2025

great companion to 'Live at Folsom Prison' and some comedy skits inbetween

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Dec 25 2025

Great album, will certainly come back to it, how did it happen that I haven't listened to any Stevie Wonder yet??? No idea, but I am glad I finally did.

Home Is Where The Music Is by Hugh Masekela
Dec 27 2025

great drums, some cool moments but I don't feel it that much apart from that

Suzanne Vega by Suzanne Vega
Dec 28 2025

great folk-singer/songwriteresque album!

groovy disco, great tunes, surely will come back later!

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Jan 01 2026

one of the few albums that, through human effort, transcends the bounds of human perception and becomes something greater, something grander
