1001 Albums Summary

Liked Two Weeks the most - think it’s their most popular song! I really enjoyed their Drums, maybe when I listen to more things and albums it will give me a better sense of what genre they fall into. Apparently they are Psych, Folk, Classical and Jazz? I do relate their music with their album cover’s neon, green, pink and brown; the colours mix in rhythms of their music and gives that psych atmosphere for sure.

Closest I know are 90s Japanese City pop and Im not entirely sure about the link in between or if there is any at all. Very chill and entertaining music!

Nice music to walk home to and will be listening to it again for soure.

I really like their sound and concept of the album and I want to give it more time to digest for what it is. Also didn’t know that the lead singer was Cleo Sol so it was really cool to see her release music in a different name with a producer to create this sound.

Radiohead.

Listened to this when I didn’t have any sleep and was trying to hold myself together to cook some food. Not my favourite music and feels more like what I expect from a radio station which is still nice.

Whimsy and fun

Didn’t get to listen to the whole album but I listened to the club’s episode talking about it. Theatre musical and reminds me of the French policewomen in the Madagascar film that was going after the animals, even though the person was from Germany/Prague. Might give it a listen in the future.

SHOEGAZE!!! So in love with the album. Heard it’s an inspiration to later shoegaze artists and rightfully so it was amazing.
