Crown of Love and then Wake Up, wow. Shame the singer’s a perv.

6/10 Not as timeless as eg Funeral by Arcade Fire, but a lot of fun. The big hits are phenomenal but the rest feels a little shallow.

8/10 Octopus’s Garden and Bring Back That Leroy Brown are cut from the same cloth. Otherwise simply excellent, but dragged down by one bat-shit song.

7/10 Nas isn’t the most engaging rapper over the course of a whole album, but there’s so many all-timers on here it’s an undeniable great

6/10 Fascinating to hear that Foo Fighters sound fully formed straight out the gate. Odd to hear it without it being on any of the huge hits.

9/10 Incredible!

7/10 AC/DC always deliver exactly what you expect of them

2/10 The USA only had two good bands in the 60’s and 70’s (Beach Boys, CCR), so they latched onto any old shit (The Doors).

7/10 I loved so much of this, but there’s too many long, meandering, ABABABAB songs to hold my attention throughout

10/10 I love that Bowie production, I love the weird songs, I love the sheen of cool over the whole thing. Completely my speed

9/10 Frustratingly, despite Morrissey, this is damn near perfect.
