Moondance by Van Morrison
Dec 28 2025

Fantastic first album. Easy listening and all the songs are hits. Album flows well, Morrison does not disappoint

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 29 2025

A classic Marley album. Never realized this is the original version of No Woman No Cry.

Station To Station by David Bowie
Jan 01 2026

Bowie slightly more experimental. The last 5 minutes of the title song were great, first 2 minutes were a waste. I’d give this 3.5 but I wouldn’t listen to the album as a whole - there were some good ones that I’d listen to though

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Jan 02 2026

Easy listening music - I feel like I would hear one of these songs on Dad’s radio in the morning. That being said it’s an hour 3 minutes of a little too similar sounding music. There’s some that are better than others

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Jan 03 2026

2nd album of their discography and I think they hadn’t quite found their voice yet. Lots of instrumental and very basic. I agree with Wikipedia that a forest is the best one. Maybe im just not hip to the cure but their music got significantly better later on when they wrote Friday

Nowhere by Ride
Jan 04 2026

This isn’t my pot of tea but hey maybe I just don’t like the genre bc Wikipedia says this is considered the best in the genre. Most of the songs sound like that mid80s/90s cover that you use the bathroom during on the Jersey shore. You don’t hate it, but you don’t need to do any active listening. I was close to giving this a 1 just considering the sheer length of the album but then I realized Spotify forced the extended version on me…

xx by The xx
Jan 05 2026

Would give it a 2.5 to be honest but it was fine. They could’ve gotten a better singer but the album was easy to listen to

Jan 06 2026

I’ve been looking forward to listening to this album given Man on the Moon is a banger. Enjoyed the album with a few key songs and the album is certainly REM. Shoutout nightswimming for a fun piano backing and everybody hurts for being a song im pretty sure I knew but now I definitely know

Pivotal years for Dylan as he goes electric. That being said this bootlegger went on a tad too long and I really don’t think he sounded his best. It was an average listen

Illmatic by Nas
Jan 08 2026

I feel like I knew all these songs from listening to Nick dj over the years. The classic, go to 90s rap album. I’d listen to this one 99/100 over most that have come out recently

american dream by LCD Soundsystem
Jan 09 2026

LCD sound systems attempted to channel the sound of the 80s while making it somehow more electronic. There are a handful of just straight up rock songs so idk a bit confusing - I feel like they’re trying to hit a bunch of genres and are… missing

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Jan 10 2026

Realistically would give this a 3.5. Dug a number of songs but wasn’t my favorite album

Jan 11 2026

This album was great, honestly had only really listened to questions 67 and 68 before and the rest of the bluesy rock album wowed me. I would give this a 4.5 though only because of the free form guitar song otherwise no notes.

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
Jan 12 2026

Yeah joany Baez damn. I can see why Bob Dylan fell in love with her but why on earth he didn’t commit is beyond me. Especially if she looks like Monica babaro. That being said her voice is absolutely lovely and sings a mix of classic folk standards and her own works. I’d give it a 3.5 if I could

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jan 13 2026

3 maybe leaning 2.5

Mr. Tambourine Man by The Byrds
Jan 14 2026

Ah a classic Byrds album. This is the easiest music in the world to listen to. Soothing and just a classic. 4.5 leaning 4

Bone Machine by Tom Waits
Jan 18 2026

Oof yeah idk I like Waits but man he really must’ve been on something for this album. Kind of haunting the whole thing but a classic waits song or two to salvage
