Back In Black by AC/DC

No one needs to hear any song on this album ever again.

The Clash by The Clash
Dec 29 2025

An enjoyable, but bog standard punk offering from a band I never really connected with. The main issue being nearly every other punk band of the era was more lyrically, musically and politically interesting. Which leaves the clash falling a bit short, especially with this release. Later they developed a more refined (though less punk) sound, which I find suits them much more. This release simply feels a bit hollow in comparison to contemporaries, but hey, at least it's better than never mind the bollocks.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Dec 30 2025

Possibly the greatest use of samples in music history

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Jan 06 2026

The female singer is clearly better, and should be the lead on every song. Aside from that, I greatly enjoyed my time with this album. It's unique, and a great shame this band is often boiled down to just "White Rabbit". P.S. wish I got to hear some banjo, major false advertising in the album art

Tank Battles by Dagmar Krause
Jan 07 2026

Anbody rating this album 2 stars doesn't know shit about music. Like maybe before you open your moronic maw, and attempt to critique that which you cannot comprehend. Consider the fact that there may be no value in your worthless, uninformed opinion. Overall a fantastic piece if music, which laid the groundwork for many of my favorite bands. Absolutely beautiful instrumentation, in combination with the beautiful voice of Dagmar Krause, make for an unforgettable cabaret experience.

Arc Of A Diver by Steve Winwood
Jan 08 2026

Miserable, forgettable, an insult. So boring I kept forgetting it was on.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Jan 09 2026

Cool if it's your thing. It's really not my thing.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Jan 10 2026

No one needs to hear any song on this album ever again.

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Jan 17 2026

Never have I heard the word funk so many times in a row

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
Jan 19 2026

Made me feel nothing aside from an instinctive need to cover my drink

British Steel by Judas Priest
Jan 23 2026

Heavily frontloaded Super boring riffs Just listen to the singles

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Jan 24 2026

This is by no means an essential cure album, I still had a good time with it though. It's clearly meant to be enjoyed on the dance floor of a goth club, rather than a focused listening experience.

A Northern Soul by The Verve
Jan 25 2026

The biases of the list curators is beginning to show. Repulsive.

A Short Album About Love by The Divine Comedy
Jan 26 2026

Devilishly well written songs which seem to revel in their own cleverness. Interwoven with covert humor one could easily miss on their first go around. Delightful.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jan 27 2026

The beginnings of a great band are here, but as it is I find it very terrible to listen to. The beats are alright, if lacking in variation. The vocals though, for the most part, are truly miserable. Long, droning, far too repetitive. Most songs amounting to five minutes of male sex moans with a backdrop of a very basic and unchanging beat. Which I personally can do without.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Jan 28 2026

We should really stop excusing misogyny in music because it was "important at the time". You're still listening to it now, and it's still bad. Aside from this issue, this album is quite musically dull. Dres flow is stuck in the 80s. Static, unchanging and dull. The beats are very of the era, in a negative sense. A rehash of the same 90s synth patches you've heard 1000 times before. The album also seems to contain no emotion aside from "look how cool I am", which I find distasteful.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jan 29 2026

Nothing is present here that wasn't done better by contemporaries. Filled with dull mastrubatory riffs which dound fun to play, but are terribly grating on the ears. While it's true this album was influential, I wouldn't call that a positive.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Jan 30 2026

The first known case of white boy reggae!! In all seriousness, a great album. Whilst I do prefer his earlier work, some of these songs absolutely blow me away. No two songs sound alike, which can not be said of many albums.

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Jan 31 2026

I can't get it out of ny head that he looks like a stunning butch woman... Oh yeah the album was great too, absolute new wave masterpiece

Feb 11 2026

Probably really cool if you're actually watching the movie, but as an album this is highly unremarkable

Dig Me Out by Sleater-Kinney
Feb 12 2026

Peak riot grrrl, makes me want to be even more lesbian. Doesn't sit right with me that one of tge members is married to a man.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Feb 14 2026

The busiest of the blues. Very stripped down, exactly what it needed to be. A particularly standout for me was the gentleman screaming in the background

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
Feb 15 2026

I do truly love post punk, but really did not find much yo enjoy here. The majority of the album is the same lifeless unchanging riffs repeated over and over again. This style can be done very well, but yhe execution here was off. The makings of a great band are here, but overall I'm quite unimpressed

Raw Power by The Stooges
Feb 22 2026

I wish steve albini could be revived and go back in time to produce this album. The awful production (on both versions) ruins what could be a decent experience. A major standout is penetration, which could genuinely be a throbbing gristle song. Most of the others though were quite miserable.
