Guitar and surrounding instruments definitely stands out in this album. The work it self is very hypnotic and feels ahead of its time for an album produced in 1975. This album is the perfect depiction of Pink Floyd as a band.
Album I would play when going on a date to a petting zoo.
I see the vision but all the beeps and boops don't quite make an album
Holy shmoly this album did not need to be fifty minutes long. Verses repeat too much at the end of the songs. A lot of hooting and hollering if you ask me.
The first song is great. I don't really know about the rest I was playing minesweeper the whole time so minus a few points for that.
Super duper soothing. The horns are beautiful. I love the vibes of a warmly lighted dinner restaurant in a big city with people slow dancing to the music. This is that music.
Verses are way too long for my liking. Not even my taste.
Freaking love this kind of music. Instrumentals were amazing and big fan of the variety and range of these people. I WILL be listening to this again.
Why is this album so frickin long at least it was better than terrible. An hour of white girl music made by a white boy doesn't get you very far in my book.
Rock like this is so groovy and catchy I really enjoyed it. The guitars are showy and vocals are pretty good. Great album.
Its like if Pink Floyd focused more on storytelling. The story was super fun to follow. Instruments regulated the tone nicely. I don't know if this is a "concept album" but it's a great album either way.
Very very powerful album. They make it clear about the message they send. Beats are great, don't listen to this genre but this is a great introduction.
Its a good folky album. Easy listening album but no wow factor. Feels plain and boring.
When the album first started it seemed promising. But I was soooo wrong. This is the worst piece of music that I've come across. This was a terrible album with no memorable moments. Why is this even on this list. So much whining and whining for a grown man. Literally, why is this album an hour long. Would rather spend my time sucking dick.
Guys its Stevie Wonder what more can I say. His voice alone made my day let alone all the production. This is one of the best albums my ears were lucky enough to gaze upon. This is a must listen to for anyone.
Very fun groovy album. Nothing special about it though.
Something about this album feels out of place. Its an album you can live without. You can see who they are trying to be but aren't.
I thought this was a kids album. Not my type of music.
Basic rock album. Need I say more?
Shes very reminiscent of Adrianne Lenker. Very folky vibe. Her voice is very well used. I wish she made better songs because I see the potential in her.
when you listen to this piece you keep checking the song that has been playing for the past 15 minutes and realize that you're not even half way through the song. Why does the song keep changing IN the song. I liked the production so clap clap for that. Thumbs down.
Amazing beautiful album. I loved her vocals. Imma need more of this kind of music here please.
Im starting to really like this genre of music. Its calming in a way that relaxes you but doesn't put you to sleep. This album is a great example of that.
The production was great on this album don't get me wrong. But this album is such a bore. You yawn through this album wishing you were listening to anything else.
This one was a very hard listen. I really really wanted to like it but it wasn't there. Maybe one memorable moment or two, but without those this album would be a one star. There was no wow in this album. 58 minutes of compost.
I'm not one to judge an album by its cover, but when I saw this one I knew I was in for a doozy. Yeah so I didn't like anything about this piece. No part of this album made me nod my head in the slightest. There's so much filler too. This album could of been 30 minutes long if there wasn't as much razzle dazzle. I adore the guitar as an instrument, but not like this.
Decent album all around. Huge variety in all types of music. Just wish it was a little more bearable.
Now this was the kind of music I was waiting to discover. It's produced so well, the lyrics are amazing, and they sing well. You don't find a lot of that with the generator. I am very grateful to have this album bestowed upon me. These guys are amazing so are their songs. Give it a listen.
Where do I even begin. I had to private my listening status on both Spotify and Airbuds to listen to this. From the start, the first 25 seconds you could tell this was about to be a loooooong album. I say that a lot but this one really outworks the rest. He "raps" like he's a 7th grader who just learned how to cuss. This is more like trashy slam poetry than music. The songs were absolutely terrible. The only reason why some songs got some points was because there was someone else singing. I can't tell you enough how much of a relief it was to hear anyone else speak. He says "if you don't like my music suck my dick" in TWO of the songs and in an interlude literally gets his dick sucked, probably because he knows his music is trash. In another song he talks about how he wouldn't mind having sex with his mom? Seriously dude, there is a fine line between rap and blabbering. Not to mention, how the absolute worst of the worst in this album is a staggering 6 minutes long. If you decide to make a song that long in that generation you better hope at least one of the lyrics are listenable, maybe even a head nod. NO absolutely unbearable trash. I hope rappers look at this album and say "I want to be nothing like that guy". Is this why this album is part of 1001 albums? To show how NOT to make music. A good year was subtracted from my lifespan listening to this crap. If anyone catches me listening to this again shoot me in the head and fuck me in the bullet hole.
I thought this was a decent album but the whole time it felt like it was missing one thing to make it amazing. In no way is this a bad album, it's just not my album.
I mean yeah its The Beatles so like what can you really do. Its a decent album with music that would rock your world in the 60's. But its been 60 years and I don't know maybe it's the wrong Beatles album for me.
