Popular Reviews

Funeral by Arcade Fire

It sounded like an early 2000s album, and it sounded like it would be in a movie soundtrack. Couldn't hear what they were saying and the song names were pretentious.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder

I knew him a black man in a time like that. His musical talent had to be insane. But after listening to this album, I am blown away by how freaking good it is, it's insane what he's doing on this album. I'm obsessed with it so good, so glad it's on this list. The funky beats are to die for and his voice is that of an angel.

Funeral by Arcade Fire

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Jan 04 2026

Honestly, I didn't mind it. Her voice was really great points off for not writing music herself, but other than that, not bad, listenable.

Rio by Duran Duran
Jan 05 2026

Loved the sound of the album. Cool that I knew a song on it. Too many weird sounds throughout for me to really enjoy. Was definitely giving 80's.

Zombie by Fela Kuti
Jan 06 2026

Loved the saxophone, not sure I was into how much instrumental it was when he sang, it was fun, though songs were also too long for me, for how little was being said in the songs. Yeah, honestly, wouldn't listen to It again.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Jan 07 2026

Sometimes it felt like it hurt him to sing at points his voice was really nice and then like so often it was so incredibly raspy, also the messages the songs weren't necessarily my favorite, it kind of felt like something I've heard before, and I realized the album's really old but like still, there's no way there weren't songs exactly like that at the time anyway, yeah.

Street Signs by Ozomatli
Jan 08 2026

Interesting concept mixing so many different nationalities of music. I think it's too much happening at once, and I can't rap but I didn't think the rap parts werent articularly that well done. It was a fun album, but i didn't really care for it.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Jan 10 2026

I liked it. I mean who wouldn't not sure I was mesmerized by the albums but still really good. What was happening with razor face? Weird name.

Elephant Mountain by The Youngbloods
Jan 11 2026

Loving the sound of the album. Doesn't sound dated like many from this same time period. The reverbs were fun, didn't even know they had those at the time.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Jan 12 2026

Power of my love made me so uncomfortable. I know Elvis's singing voice is very unique not sure I'm all that into. I've heard too many impersonations to really enjoy him singing tbh.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Jan 13 2026

Exactly what I expected from Marvin Gaye. Fantastic album. A lot of the songs sounded the same. The moans felt a little unnecessary but other than that.

The Sounds Of India by Ravi Shankar
Jan 14 2026

Kinda soothing. Sounded like I expected it to sounds. Doesn't sound dated. I don't know any Indian music though.

Metallica by Metallica
Jan 15 2026

I knew some of them already unexpected. Bot a metal gal to it was a bit grating to listen to. Too much build for all the songs with too little singing. I'm not crazy on instrumental.

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Jan 16 2026

It's the Beatles so it's a solid album. Not crazy about it though.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Jan 17 2026

I knew him a black man in a time like that. His musical talent had to be insane. Treasure by Cocteau Twins
Jan 18 2026

Definitely wasn't English. I really don't like when I can't hear what they are saying. The ethereal thing is fun for a few songs but quickly looses me.
