At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Jan 08 2026

Jamming gets a bit long winded at times but it always feels like there's something neat around the corner to keep you listening. Everything beyond Hot 'Lanta is fantastic, definitely prefer it to the former half of the album.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Jan 09 2026

You know what this album reminds me of? The wizard of loneliness. Monotonous, quiet, tedious. Enjoyable but nothing aside from the opener and A Forest stick out to me. Consistent dour atmosphere, but it doesn't do much for me.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jan 12 2026

I'm honestly not sure why she sings like that, ignorance of music history accepted. I think it works for the Blues-ier and tracks but loses me otherwise. One I want to come back to, I don't feel like I can fully grasp it in one listen and that's all the attention I care to spend on it.

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Jan 14 2026

Dum dum dum dum dum dum dum. Dum dum dum

Truth by Jeff Beck
Jan 15 2026

Blues Rock undeniably. A guys sad and plays his guitar about being sad. Sounds fine.

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Jan 20 2026

Bubble bobble music, liked this a lot better than the previous stuff I've heard from them. Reminds me of the future.

Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
Jan 21 2026

Very very nice songs, better than most things here. Aretha has a beautiful voice, she truly is Lady Soul

Queen II by Queen
Jan 22 2026

Where's bohemian rhapdy

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jan 23 2026

I can't not like CCR, something about the guitars and everything coming together just appeals to me. Just taste the gumbo boah

Jan 26 2026

Every song is gold, everything is cohesive as well. My first 5 and it was immediate, how can you not love this.

KE*A*H** (Psalm 69) by Ministry
Jan 29 2026

The songs that lean heavily on one side (Thrash or Industrial) are good, and the duo of outro songs are great, but the rest is too long and doesn't do enough to keep me interested.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Jan 30 2026

I wish it rocked harder but this album is really great, obvious inspiration to Ween.

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Feb 02 2026

Good but dated, it's hard not to enjoy buuuuut I could be listening to something else

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Feb 03 2026

Hate soundgarden so bad, principally didn't dislike it enough to give it a 1 bit it was close. Very boring to me

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Feb 04 2026

A really enjoyable listen. Not much stands out aside from Whirly-Bird but I don't feel like it needs to, flows super nicely. Also, very funny to me to imagine this being someone's favorite album ever made. Just a dude who can't get enough of this.

The Rising by Bruce Springsteen
Feb 05 2026

Not as bad as I expected, honestly nice on my ears, but I don't see myself coming back to this for any reason. I am curious about other Springsteen, though.

2112 by Rush
Feb 06 2026

I was so so wrong. This rocks so hard. Will definitely be coming back to this

Kid A by Radiohead
Feb 09 2026

Very great album. How To Disappear Completely and Idioteque are fantastic, the rest of the album is cold and calm and good. I'd like to come back to this.

Smash by The Offspring
Feb 10 2026

Offspring get better as they go on. It's weird. In fairness I can't rate this album too low it's fun skate punk and I have a weakness for these morons, but not the best.
