Vivid by Living Colour

Meh. Not my type of music

White Ladder by David Gray

I love David Gray, and this album was the theme of my year abroad in England back in 2000/2001. This gets a 5 for that alone

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Jan 08 2026

Absolute banger of an album. The roots in Blues and ska and that raspy rebellious voice of Amy’s is undeniably great, and worth every second of my time listening to this album.

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Jan 09 2026

Not much you can say about this album that hasn’t been said a million times. This album really marked their growth and maturity into The Beatles we would all come to love. My favorite thing about this album is its ability to speak so deeply to the Universal truths we all experience. The Beatles had such a unique way of mixing joy and pain in their music and lyrics, and this is a perfect example of it. I think what made them truly great was their ability to connect both music and story very universally and relevantly to our souls.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Jan 11 2026

I don’t really even need to listen to this album today because I listen to it so often. I have loved music in my entire life, but Pearl Jam Ten had one of the most profound effects of my life. This album captured the spirit of the 90s and grunge would not be what it was without it. You could tell that Eddie Vedder was connected to every song he wrote in a deeply emotional way as well.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Jan 15 2026

Mark Knopfler is one of the greats! Loved this album and it brought me back to a time in my life when this album played on repeat and life was a lot simpler.

Smash by The Offspring
Jan 17 2026

The Offspring is fantastic! I was never as big a fan of them as I was of the Pearl Jam’s and Smashing Pumpkins and STPs of the world, but they were great and this is a good album.

Vivid by Living Colour
Jan 19 2026

Meh. Not my type of music

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jan 21 2026

This is my shit! Loved this album! The African jazz, and funk, and soul all mixed into one beautiful record is exactly the type of music I love!

Since I Left You by The Avalanches
Jan 23 2026

SO SO GOOD!! This album was so ahead of its time. The sampling, R&B, reggae, and Jazz sounds are mixed so perfectly in this album. I had completely forgotten about this anlbum until this reminded me of it. I ordered the Vinyl after listening, because it’s so good!

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Jan 24 2026

Fucking classic! Such a great album!

Buffalo Springfield Again by Buffalo Springfield
Jan 25 2026

I love all genres of music, and I almost always have something good to say, but this album sucked.

Treasure by Cocteau Twins
Jan 26 2026

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Jan 30 2026

this one felt like watching an episode of Law and Order.

Spiderland by Slint
Feb 02 2026

I actually loved this one. Not sure why I never heard of them in the 90's, but they remind me of that deep indie rock sound that I loved from bands like the Frogs, and Sonic Youth and others.

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Feb 03 2026

Love this album! Duke Ellington is one of my top 5 Jazz artist. EASY 10/10

Feb 05 2026

Classic! I’m not a huge fan, but I get why it’s considered an essential album.

Emperor Tomato Ketchup by Stereolab
Feb 06 2026

Super cool album! Very much in line with what artists like Beck were doing in the 90’s.

Django Django by Django Django
Feb 11 2026

Very psycho pop and reminds me a bit of the Beatles in their psycho-pop era. I can't tell if I like this album or not. I love a couple songs, but the album as a whole feels too monotonous.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Feb 12 2026

Loved it

White Ladder by David Gray
Feb 13 2026

I love David Gray, and this album was the theme of my year abroad in England back in 2000/2001. This gets a 5 for that alone

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
Feb 14 2026

This isn’t an album I would listen to all the time because I’m just not a huge 80’s pop fan, but I really did love this album. A few of the songs were absolute classics and definitely nostalgic.
