1001 Albums Summary

Highlight so far is “Heresy”, sound wise at the beginning at least, I don’t necessarily like the lyrics as much “March of the Pigs” has a nice intro, but I don’t like the screaming that comes next “closer” has my favorite singing so far “Reptile” is both good singing wise and music wise

“Thinkin Bout You” is good, I might add it to my liked songs. “Lost” has a very nice intro, maybe also getting added to my liked songs.

“Oh! Darling” I didn’t know that they sang like this, I don’t necessarily like it but it is interesting. Overall, no strong stand outs for me. But it’s like an easy listening vibe, but didn’t necessarily grab me. If I were choosing between this and the Creedence Clearwater Revival album of Cosmos Factory, I’d go with CCR.

This has some cool/interesting sounds, but outside of that I’m not necessarily engaged by it.

I do love “piece of my heart” but didn’t know this was by them.

Don’t know why was definitely the stand out, overall it had a nice feeling of early 2000s nostalgia

“All about love” I like the instruments on this one.

“I could never take the place of your man” is my favorite so far. I also like “The Cross” a good bit, especially the intro

No real strong stand outs for me, but the guitars were good. It would be good on for background sound, but probably won’t revisit it.

This one caught me off guard, I liked it a lot more than I expected. Just a more enjoyable listen overall.

Winter Hymnal is incredible

I am enjoying “man out of time”.

This was a nice album to listen to, very pretty and sounds good.

Sound pretty overall, kind of sci-fi vibes.

Just a little too slow for my liking
