Sounds like a Beatles album, and a pretty good one. It's probably a bit long but it has that 1970s folk rock sound that's always pleasant to listen to.

Incredible songwriting and vocal performance accompanied mostly just with driving piano chords. Shadowboxer is my favorite Fiona Apple song.

The three songs I already knew (Fight Test, YBTPR1, Do You Realize) are all great twee indie rock. The rest of the album doesn’t do much for me, an interesting thematic concept but it never gets fully fleshed out, a lot of the other tracks are forgettable. The bass-forwardness gets to be a little much in the instrumental track

Best Bob. Desolation Row one of the greatest songs ever

Great singing but the lyrics are really same-y and I lost interest quickly. The kind of album to appreciate but not really listen through often

Decent Smiths album, not my fav. First track is kinda ironic given Morrissey’s xenophobia now.

Love the mix of punk and rusty-sounding guitar riffs. Also just an incredibly horny album
