a 5.5./10
best parts are when there is no singing involved(applicable to the beginning of the album, the later tracks are much better). The guitar riffs and production are much better and actually enjoyable then. I also don't speak British, that's a problem also
Highlights: Dennis and Lois, Loose Fit, Step On, Kinky Afro(for the intro line tbh)
8.3/10
The album is a nice cohesive vibe being very punk rock. I like that its a short album, since it gets worse as you listen
Highlights: Janies Jones, remote control, what's my name
8.1/10
Abrasive is a strong word, but in this case it matches.
highlights: Black skinhead, blood on the Leaves, Bound 2
8.2
fresh prince of bel-air but I have never actually seen any of it
Highlights: oh shit, soul flower remix, otha fish
3.5/10
elevator music of a wild western Mariachi band if it was in the movie Rango with a white voice over it, even though half the album had no words(and no Espanol) lol. Its folksy, country, jazzy latin infused indie rock that never quite reaches rock energy iykyk
Highlights(if you held a gun to my head and said choose): Sunken Waltz, Black Heart, Pepita
2/10
You have to get used to it, intriguing and an oddball album that sounds bleak at times and homeless at others. The bare percussion and ticklely guitar create an interesting listen, but I don't get the hype, esp with all the talking involved.
Highlights: Down Down Down, Rainbirds, In the Neighborhood
1.4/10
I used all my skips for the hour on this album. The concept is good. Execution not great. at all. Only for those into techno stuff with Indian/East Asian fusion.
Felt like if Coldplay and Radiohead adopted a kid at maybe a discounted price
Highlights: grounds for divorce, one day like this
5.5/10
I found a new song to annoy people with if they ever cross the line. Sounds like background music you might hear in an old 60s movie, like an out of pocket psych rock with a garage fuzzy effect going on
highlights: I had too much to dream(last night), try me on for size, Onie
7.4/10
some nice guitars and fun jams, but many a bit the usual 60s Psychedelic rock
Highlights: Sunshine of your Love, Strange Brew, SWLABR, Take it Back
8.9/10
minus some of the vocals, a great rock album. I low-key wanted the album to end early bc it got a repetitive feeling. feels like a relic of 90s rock with all the guitar layers and drums
highlights- cherub rock, quiet, Luna, soma, disarm, today, hummer
1.5/10
didn't have drugs with me, so I guess that's why I didn't enjoy listening to this electronica DJ mix meant for between sets.
