Such a good sing along - I grew up listening to this with family, at school discos, randomly on the radio. Great for a boogie. A couple of tracks I hadn't heard before and liked - 'When I kissed the teacher' and Tiger.
I already really enjoy Massive Attack, so this was an easy listen. I have never listened to this album from start to finish however and it works so well - feels like a journey in an alternative timeline where you're apart of an underground rebellion against a tyranical system. loved it!
A classic album by Cream. I enjoyed it - the last track was unexpected haha fun way to end the album
Big fan of David Bowie, especially as Ziggy Stardust. He really was a starman - enjoyed alot!!
Honestly wasn't super excited to get this one haha I'm Australian and so Acca Dacca is played everywhere all the time and I guess it looses it's charm. However as much as I wasn't in the mood to listen to it - I did and it was suprisingly fun and energising to listen to. Loved Hells Bells, Let me put my love into you and You shook me all night long. Will actually probably listen to again lol
I'm a big fan of a lot of the songs on this album and Patti Smith - however I can't say that I had listened to the whole album as a whole before and it did become a little much for me, I prefer the songs in little doses rather than a whole hour of it. I wanted to switch gears to something different a couple of times.
This was such a pleasure to listen to - the whole way through! loved it.
Honestly I wasn't the happiest chap getting this one on the list lol, I really didn't want to listen to it but I did because I didn't want my judgement cloud my review. I genuinely really liked the opening track 'Bawitdaba' was fun and heavy - I think the best singing on the album was in this song by Kid Rock and on other tracks the backing singers made the songs. Fist of Rage was also kind of a different track on the album(?) reminded me of Rage of the Machine, kind of. The Auto-Tune on 'Only God Knows Why' did break up the album with something different. The lyrics were also rough to listen to - like all of it, certainly not the most inspiring. It just isn't what I'd ever choose to listen to - will probably listen to 'Bawitdaba' again but not the rest. I feel kind of dumber for listening to this hahah
Haven't listened to this whole album before - some classics on there 'Dirty Boys' and ' Valentine's Day' - really enjoyed it and would recommend reading the lyrics along side. Not my favourite of Bowie's as a whole but would definitely listen to again.
A great punk album, not one I'd put on to listen to all at once and would have to be in the mood for it but it's super fun. Really loved the last track 'Cashing in'
Ahhh this was so good as a whole album, I was suprised that I didn't get sick of it, I actually wanted more! haha loved it
I liked a couple of their songs, however I was struggling by the end of it to get through it. Little doses would be fine. I guess they must have been heart throbs back in the day.
Very fun album, enjoyed it a lot
Such a good album - very soulful and funky. Especially loved 'All about love'. Would listen to again
Love the Yeah Yeah Yeahs - really enjoyed this album - I thought I'd get sick of it somewhere there, however that didn't happen and I thought it was great
