Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Feb 28 2026

This album lingers around the listless 70's waiting room capably created by Breakdown for way too long, chugging along without ambition until finishing unexpectedly strongly with the classic American Girl.

Smash by The Offspring
Mar 01 2026
Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Mar 03 2026

It's fine. Hard to imagine this being subversive but 60 years ago is a long time.

Harvest by Neil Young
Mar 04 2026

Really pleasant with a surprising amount of orchestral ambition

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Mar 06 2026
Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Mar 07 2026

Very cool album, first half in particular, but loses steam in the second half a bit and falls into some really braindead repetition. Strong lyrics as well that still hold up.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Mar 09 2026

This album is all about minimalist instrumentals highlighting Joni's voice, and I just don't like her voice that much. It's a kind of shrill lilting yodel that irritates me the whole time (Angel Olsen does this vocal style better on her first album imo). Lyrically it's fine, nothing terribly interesting.
