1001 Albums Summary

A great, great listen. Every song is a banger and the whole album is such a classic. I've heard some of their songs before but I never got around listening to the entire album... I'm happy I did now! The entire album sounds so raw... I mean like the microphone and the vocals are so spontaneous, it's not some overproduced industry bulshittttt. Tearz is really my favourite song in the album: it gives me summer vibes. Living in a small town in italy, a song is fine with me only if it sounds like summer days, and Tearz really does! I can see myself put it on in the car, hanging out and chilling with a joint. 7th chamber pt. 2 is also amazing. I'm not an expert but it makes me feel something and that's what matters lol

definitely not my genre. It's the types of songs I'd pretend to enjoy to look cool and deep but they all felt a little one note to me. Especially the first one, it turned me off pretty quickly. I still tried to listen to some other songs but nah

There's very few words that could do justice to this amazing album

I already knew the beastie boys, but much like the wu tang clan I never got around to listening to a full album. To all the girls almost felt out of character, but it was a beautiful intro to the rest of the album. Johnny Ryall was catchy and felt timeless! the entire album would sound good both for day to day life and for a movie. High plains drifter got annoying after the first minute lol I couldn't keep listening, same with the sounds of science and it's too bad cause at minute two it gets good. Overall the highs of this album are HIGH, and the lows are LOWS. The lyrics aren't meant to be taken seriously so it's a fun album to dance to and sing along without thinking too much. What the fuck is the TWELVE. MINUTES. SONG. oh my god

Sad and emotional in a 2021 TikTok lockdown kind of way, me personally I moved on from that so I find it a bit cringy... Movies of myself could've been soooo good if only he didn't fucking sing like that!!! He sounds like he's frowning while singing Go or go ahead same thing. Had potential, ruined it by singing like he was forced to do it

fun, the singer's voice is a bit too whiny at times, but guitar and bass are really good. Confessions had good instrumental but the lyrics i found insufferable. Add it up, Prove my love and Promise were good i liked them a lot.

Already knew a lot of songs on this album, it's just really good and cohesive.

the clash are one of the first English bands I ever listened to. I love this album, every song is so nice and they knew what they wanted to do with it

the album cover made me think it was somethin indie or like Wicked Game vibes, so I was surprised lol but after a first listen it really fits the artist. Bawitdaba was a great intro to the album simply because it made me want to listen more. Then Cowboy started an I was so confused, my first thought was that the album isn't meant to be just one cohesive genre, it's just a bunch of songs, like a playlist (which is completely fine I don't mind it at all, I'd say it shows great versatility and is a great way to not be bound by a specific genre). LOVE the instrumental on Devil without a cause also what the fuck did that kid just say LMAO????

GOD I'M MEANT TO BE THE LONELY 20 YEAR OLD I THOUGHT I WOULD BE 11 YEARS AGO. I think people are misunderstanding the vibes here... if you listen to it through internet ears and eyes you're not gonna get it. If I had to give it an internety review I'd say tumblr 2011-2015 roadtrip in a foresty place
