1001 Albums Summary

Wistful, fantastical, but also quite raw at the same time. Lots of texture. Very soothing to a certain sense of dread. Very easy to get completely lost in while listening. It reminds me of being deep in a maladaptive daydream; there are moments where you're free-flying and feeling sparks of excitement, but they eventually spiral back down to this bleak feeling...reality hits again.

This is a fun album and is obviously influential. I have a bit of a hard time giving it an unbiased listen because of how overplayed many of the songs on this album have become. It definitely has cool elements and is still a fun listen.

Not my thing, but I respect it.
