Reminds me of my childhood as this album was absolutely huge in the UK. Easy listening, my favourite track was 'All These Things That I've Done'.

Really enjoyed this album, the music was so well composed and fit the style of rapping so perfectly. Never listened to Nas before but this body of work has really makes me want to explore more.

A fun lyrical adventure. Very 80's (which makes sense) and although I think the singer is a fine vocalist, I just personally didn't enjoy their voice so my preferred sections were the more guitar heavy bits. Best song was YYZ. Inoffensive album, but I don't think I'd 'Rush' back to listen to it.

We all need more funk in our lives!!!

It's a classic for a reason; fun, easy listen that makes you wanna dance.

Frank Zappa is an artist who so many of my favourite artists has cited as a major inspiration, so I was happy when this album came up to delve into his music. And I bloody loved it. A beautiful journey through the mostly instrumental tracks, which were so beautiful layered and textural. I could hear the direct influences to music I love so much. Definitely listen to again and inspired me to listen to more of his work.

Nice and pleasant, but not for me sadly. Surprised to read about this being the proto for grunge! It's so interesting how connections are everywhere.

It's not a bad album, it's just not for me

It was alright! Harmless and easy listen, probably won't return to the piano man but ya know.

As a lifelong NIN fan I've always heard that Johnny Cash's version of 'Hurt' is better than the original. Johnny brings a beautiful haunting emotion to it that I love, but for me you canny beat the original. Anyway! Nice album, slow and steady with Johnny still providing warmth and emotion through his voice.

It was better than I thought and had some great guitar bits, but it just feels like frat boy music....

A BANGER. I didn't realise how much of this album I actually knew but I loved every minute. It's so 80s and yet has aged so well.
