1001 Albums Summary

Im hearing punk, funk, brit pop influences, and I really like it, all the instruments have incredible tones, with punk lines, but with a more funk/dance flow rhythm the production seems really well done and personal, also the switches in some song between different types of groove are really catchy and natural, the minds behind the composing and arranging have for sure a lot of influences and culture all the tracks ooze love for the music and the eager to express themselves so many lines remind me about the brit pop Blur I'm hearing also new wave influences (?) Auf Achse is the one I prefer for now the dynamics are a focal point in the tracks of this album, I'm noticing that the groove is carried by the style switches and dynamics, Franz Ferdinand band is a master of this

All the tracks are so relaxing but with a good dance vibes i like this album, it sounds like all 90s, I can think it left a really important print in 90s music the arrangements are a mix of jazz ambient, house, a bit of dance Venus Is A Boy I think is my favourite, also I really loved The Anchor Song and Play Dead, bass line in this last one is amazing

Totally Blues, roots rock, now honestly sound old, for sure was an incredible success
