1001 Albums Summary

Impressed by the production for the time of release. There’s no denying of Jimi’s talent. Not exactly my cup of tea regarding song composition, but the influence on the evolution of rock is there.

Appreciate the production and some guitar work but didn’t really connect with the vibe of the album

Didn't expect the production/mix to be so fun, detailed. Not familiar with her sound or adjacent artists/genres but I enjoyed the listen. Single standout for me was Cold War.

Great listen. Given how strong the A-side stands (Immigrant Song, Since I've Been Loving You) which I am more familiar with, I was pleasantly surprised with the more folky/acoustic back end of the album. Favorites: Since I've Been Loving You, Tangerine

Rough listen, couldn't stick with it. Might have to revisit it sometime later, but it might be a bit of burnout from blues.

First jazz album for me, pleasant. Didn’t feel too detached for me given the year of release.
