1001 Albums Summary

I have never really listened to jazz so this was a new experience! The first piece reminded me of someone walking around at night, just as the sun begins to come up. The first part of the second song felt like someone reaching a resolution, comfy in the confines of their bed at night. Very cinematic album, very moving album cover. Gave it 3 stars - not really my kind of thing, but I can see why it is a great in its genre.

Solid album! Hate the album cover. Tiny Dancer of course I knew, the rest were new for me. "There's a joke and I know it very well / Its one of those I told you long ago." Something about the instrumental in Indian Susent made me think of Spirit. Very good time all around.

Genuinely really liked this album. Beautiful album. I didnt realize Coldplay has been around so long. The Scientist will always be a favorite, The Warning was a new favorite.

You cant say I didnt try. I dont get the appeal!

3.75 more like. I liked the vibe a lot, good lyrics, nothing really stuck out to me too much but I think I could easily find something in his discography I really loved. Also I didnt actually know he actually sings like that all the time.

Closer to a 3.5. I think this album had a disservice due to being right after Bob Dylan. Both had a very similar vibe to me. S&G was better, but Bob Dylan was more interesting? Much to think about. I did think S&G was a comedy duo before this. My apologies.

May be unfair, but 2 jazz albums in a 7 album stretch - ah! Interesting if you are into that, I am not.

Was fun, but if I get another jazz album back to back... omg! Her vocals were flawless, the few slip ups were cute, love to hear more from the Chicago jazz scene.

Was a very nice vibe! Good lyrics, I really liked people. Probably closer to a 3.5

The things I have to say ahout the metal genre would get me canceled even anonymously.

Very good, has such a good nostalgic feeling, I feel like this has been the soundtrack to every movie to ever exist. I feel like there may be other Bowie stuff that I may love more!

Thought it was a Zappa rip off only to learn it was a Zappa original..... oops!

Genuinely brilliant. Should probably give it a 4, but I know after another listen, it will be a 5. So good, song after song. She didnt miss once.
