The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Jun 02 2026

Not my type of thing, but surprisingly good to listen on the background. It creates a relaxed ambiance, while being complex to listen to.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Jun 03 2026

Same as Count Basie - kind of not my thing, but creates an amazing ambiance. This could be an amazing piece to have on a calm hangout.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Jun 04 2026

OMG, the meme album! Super droning, post-punk ambience. Kind of not my thing though.

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Jun 05 2026

Didn't finish. Absolutely unique vocals, but they don't always work well. Some songs are amazing, and some are just howling.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Jun 06 2026

Hell yeah. Groovy, the vocals are amazing, the songs have a great energy to them. Best song: Riders on the Storm

Jun 07 2026

A massive audioexperience. Must be listened to as a whole. Sort of reminds me of Revolution 9 and She's So Heavy by The Beatles on one side, and something like Kraftwerk on the other. Favorite song: none, must be listened as a whole.

Nowhere by Ride
Jun 08 2026

Super shoegaze album, amazing sound and songs. Defo need to listen to more of it. Best song: Seagull

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Jun 09 2026

Unexpected album cover, expected harder metal variety like Judas Priest, but still had a nice album experience with this one. Pleasant rock album, very 70s in feeling.

Come Find Yourself by Fun Lovin' Criminals
Jun 11 2026

Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit, but for middle aged white people, kind of meh

Jun 12 2026

Absolute classic of Compton rap and has a lot of funky beats with witty text. But still inferior to solo projects of the members (especially Dr. Dre and Ice Cube).

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jun 13 2026

Really good Afrobeat/Funk album, great to listen to either as ambient, or as a normal listen.

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Jun 14 2026

Once again, an audioexperience. Very drawn out, ballady songs and vocals, somewhat meditative in nature. Not sure if my cup of tea, but great to hear!

Dear Science by TV On The Radio
Jun 15 2026

Couldn’t finish, very meh at best. Lots of incoherent yelling and just blasting of music.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jun 16 2026

Surprisingly remembered Sheena Ringo when I listened to it, maybe this was an inspiration for her? Either way, quite cool, a bit screamy vocals accompanied by a washed out guitar. I liked “You Outta Know”.

Jun 17 2026

James Brown, in general, is amazing, and this album is too, but it is very short. The jivy tunes are quite good, but didn’t get developed too good.

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
Jun 18 2026

One sort of forgets that Britney Spears was an absolute powerhouse of pop. Spectacular album, an absolute banger.

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
Jun 19 2026

Wow, this sucks. The music is not very interesting, while the vocals are grating.

Fifth Dimension by The Byrds
Jun 21 2026

Mid-60s Beatles vibe (no wonder, same time period). But only early Beatles, where they had no experimental stuff. Solid overall, lovely. Liked What's Happening?

The Next Day by David Bowie
Jun 22 2026

David Bowie, the absolute legend. The album is great, but not up to what he did before. Defo a great listen!

Real Life by Magazine
Jun 24 2026

I might not be a fan of post-punk, but this was okay.

Low-Life by New Order
Jun 25 2026

Another post-punky album, the guy really has a taste for post-punk. Was really good, though.
